Women's Health Testing

Advanced Pathogen Testing for Women’s Health
We use the highly sensitive real-time PCR method QuantStudio 12 Flex by ThermoFisher at Allstate Lab, which also provides advanced molecular identification features. Infections caused by bacteria, viruses, and fungi in the gynecology and sexually transmitted diseases can be precisely identified with this method.
There are a number of these infections that can be silent or have overlapping symptoms, so it is imperative to identify the pathogens causing those symptoms in order to treat patients effectively.
Why PCR?
-
Results are usually available within 24 to 48 hours once they have been received

Results are 98% accurate
-
Infectious disease testing relies on PCR as the gold standard.
